The DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington offers a convenient location near the airport and offers a generally positive experience, highlighted by friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a decent breakfast. However, recent reviews indicate issues with cleanliness, particularly in older rooms, along with concerns about outdated facilities and construction impacting the overall stay.

Very pleased with our unexpected stay at the Burlington Doubletree following a flight cancellation. Our rooms were brand new and service was very pleasant. As a Diamond I was granted credits that took care of breakfast. Would certainly stay here again. Well done!

Rooms we stayed in were older. Reported a high pitch squeal to the front desk coming from the heating unit upon arrival. Was told they would send an "engineer" to inspect. Returned 4 hours later and still squealing, asked to move to a new room and they moved me without any issue. The next room black out curtains only, no sheers on the ground floor and poor room lighting (let them know, and wasn't fixed), luckily we weren't in the room much. Bathrooms do not have fans. The staff was quite friendly and the atrium and pool were a big hit. Atrium is a great place to sit with friends. The room was a standard double bed room, the rate we got was great. Interesting hotel layout, a bit of a maze and elevators do not access all parts of the building. So it was interesting carrying all my kids hockey gear to the room. Best to ask for the 1st floor.

Only 6 min from the airport, which was my main concern. Room was a little difficult to get to (was on the 1st floor, but still had to go up and down stairs??) & had a slightly mildew smell (according to my friends’ sensitive nose). That might be from the indoor pool, though, which wasn’t far from our room. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. I would definitely stay here again. It’s under construction with a new addition, so keep that in mind (it didn’t affect our stay).

As being a Hilton rewards member, I would give this place a less than one star. As when I made my reservation, I asked if there was a hot tub and I was told yes during my stay my husband and I attempted to find the hot tub and went to the front desk to ask and was told there was no hot tub, and then I asked for a discount in my room because we were looking for a place with a Hot tub and I was told no and then I Asked for a manager and he said there was no manager on duty, but he was the best next thing. I called the local number that was on their website when I placed my reservation and I told the gentleman this and He ensure me that none of his staff would’ve said there was a hot tub. I gave the gentleman the local number I called and told him I expect a discount at checkout and still didn’t get one. This was one of the flaws out of many during our stay. There was no microwave in the room, the shower temperature was either very hot or very cold with no pressure at all.

Clean, comfortable rooms with complementary water and coffee. The hotel breakfast is phenomenal! Very friendly staff and shuttles offered to/from airport and UVM. Felt very safe as a solo woman.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Hilton DoubleTree. The room was not up to the standards I expected, especially considering the brand’s reputation. The cleanliness was poor from the moment I walked in. The bathroom was the worst part, it looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. There were visible stains, grime in the corners, and an overall feeling that the space was not sanitized. For a hotel that typically prides itself on comfort and quality, this was a major letdown. I hope management takes these cleanliness issues seriously, because the current state is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here until improvements are made.

This is a really great hotel for those looking to visit Stowe and Burlington. Daniel was great in getting me an early room assignment and also a room upgrade. The hotel also has a lot of extras like a free shuttle that goes to downtown and to the airport. Also really great for resting in the room. The room had free streaming HBO (no account required). Also the bed was really nice. Also if you are going to Stowe make sure to rent a car at the airport. (There are not any Ubers at Stowe). The hotel has free parking. Highly recommended and felt at home here!

It's a huge hotel, and the newer rooms are great. There's an old wing with rooms that are a little run down. They say they try to avoid putting people there, and only use them if they are overbooked. But the staff are super nice and helpful and they moved me to a much better room. The location allows for a nice walk to campus, but it's a little too far to walk downtown.

Here for business and after a long day of travel appreciated having a tavern to eat after unpacking in my spacious room. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful, my friend asked for two cookies and it was given with no hesitation. The next day I heard a guest ask for a few and the host gave them 8 cookies to take the on bus, I thought it was a big ask from the guest but the host was respectful and said I can’t give you too many and then handed over 8 ?. Room is dated but clean and house keeping restocked me with coffee, water and towels. We enjoyed our stay and easy check in and out.

Although this hotel is currently undergoing construction, we had no problems with getting a room and did not hear the construction going on whatsoever on a Friday night. Stay. We were visiting from California. They greet you and check you in with warm cookies! We checked in around 3:00 p.m.. they offer a restaurant inside their hotel and the decor and atmosphere is nice and beautiful & very Serene. We found the beds comfortable. The room has a good size small refrigerator as well as a coffee maker. They have two small size bottles of water that sit on the counter and are available for purchase at $3 each, which quite frankly I think they should give to their guest given the cost of the room. They offer upon check on area water and hot apple cider as well for free. The parking is free and easy to find. We chose this location because it is close to the Burlington airport and they do offer a free shuttle which we didn't take advantage of because we were returning a rental car but that would be always nice to have.
