LOVED our time at blind tiger. The service was fantastic. The breakfast is included and very delicious. The rooms were extremely cozy and the property is just stunning. Very well decorated. A big plus is that there’s free parking on site and it’s a 15-20 min serene walk to downtown. Looking forward to coming back.

The Blind Tiger is a nicely located, very quiet, and comfortable boutique hotel. Though our room was small with a funky A/C unit that was a bit temperamental, it was still nicely appointed with a comfortable bed and a nice roomy shower. The continental breakfast is excellent and there is always coffee, tea and water available. Their sitting/breakfast room is eclectic, comfortable and overlooks a beautiful backyard and garden. It’s a nice room to gather with friends, play board games, or get some work done. All. in all, I would recommend the Blind Tiger.

The Blind Tiger Burlington is easily one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Set in a historic house with immaculate woodwork and a stunning solarium, it feels like stepping into a period drama—especially with a guest room overlooking the lake. Breakfast was exceptional, with homemade bread and the best yogurt I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return to this truly special place.

It’s difficult for a hotel to combine comfort, coziness, and quirkiness and make it all work, yet Blind Tiger achieves that and more. This hotel is a gem, not in a flashy or overly polished way, but in the sense that it genuinely understands how to make guests feel welcome and cared for. Within just a few hours of arriving, I felt completely at home. Its leafy location is nestled among Burlington’s historic Victorian homes, once occupied by the city’s business elite. Today, many of these grand properties are owned by Champlain College and the University of Vermont, whose preservation efforts are evident in the beauty and character of the neighborhood. The hotel is only a short walk from downtown Burlington and because downtown is “down” the hill, you can conveniently walk off a few calories after enjoying Burlington’s eclectic restaurant scene. Breakfast in the dining room is exceptional, Michelin-level exceptional, as the plaques outside the front door proudly attest. There may be no better place to start the day than in the grand solarium, enjoying breakfast while overlooking the beautiful lawn beyond. The quirky décor throughout the hotel naturally brings a smile, while the afternoon aromas of baking drifting through the house serve as a delicious preview of the next morning’s offerings. Guests are never far from complimentary drinks and snacks in the bar room pantry. And fair warning: the chocolate muffins are devilishly good. The rooms are comfortable, unique, and thoughtfully restored, with touches that honor the building’s history. Bathrooms are spotless and stocked with an ample supply of quality towels. My only minor quibble with my room was the lighting setup. There was no convenient way to turn off the lights from bed, requiring a bit of strategy to avoid stubbing a toe on the way back. Otherwise, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, with soft linens and high-quality pillows. My room, Horizon Lines, was especially fortunate to have four windows and stunning western views overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks beyond. Personally, I enjoy the creaks and character of old homes. The oak woodwork throughout speaks to the craftsmanship that went into building this beautiful manor. I particularly loved the pocket screen door separating the front porch from the foyer; one of those small details that adds charm and personality. The staff was attentive and welcoming throughout my stay. They checked in by text to ensure my needs were met, and whenever assistance was needed, a quick ring of the foyer bell brought someone promptly. Printed guides highlighting what to see, do, and eat in Burlington were especially appreciated. Thoughtful extras; umbrellas, card and board games, yoga mats, and other amenities reinforced that Blind Tiger truly understands hospitality. If you’re looking for accommodations that feel delightfully out of the ordinary while leaning firmly toward the extraordinary, Hotel Blind Tiger may be exactly the place for your stay.

My husband and I just eloped there this weekend and we can’t stay enough positive things. Staff 20/10, service 20/10. Everyone who works there is so kind, warm, generous and willing to go out of their way. Even the guests feel like family by the end of the weekend. It was a whirlwind weekend but we definitely have key remembrances and are so happy and glad we booked there for one of the most important days of our life. Thank you Paige, Katrina and Kristen!!!

I stayed two nights at the Blind Tiger Burlington in the “Mr. Sun” room 13. To say this place is absolutely stunning would be an understatement. From the amazing staff that greet you to how beautifully maintained this property is.. Everything is five stars. I was unsure of which room to stay in because they are have such a different flair to them. Paige was so sweet and she took a video herself of each room so that I could make an easier decision! I am so grateful to have stayed here and would absolutely recommend it for anyone who would like a quiet, simple getaway in a beautiful boutique hotel.

We stayed here recently for a long weekend and had a fabulous time. We stayed in the room “Treehouse” and found the view stunning, even in winter. The daily breakfast buffet was well-balanced and fresh, with a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. The solarium was a key highlight. It felt private even when others were in there, and offered a beautiful room for relaxation and reading. It is well-situated to downtown Burlington and the Church Street area, although you’ll likely find walking arduous in the winter months. We can’t wait to stay again the next time we’re around!

We had the most wonderful stay at Blind Tiger in Burlington, VT, and it truly made our 25th anniversary feel incredibly special. From the moment I spoke with Katrina on the phone, several weeks ago her warmth and hospitality set the tone. When we arrived, she welcomed us like old friends, and the next morning she greeted us again at breakfast with the same genuine kindness and her breakfast set up was impeccable and really delicious Katrina even created a beautiful charcuterie board for our celebration, a thoughtful touch that made us feel seen and celebrated. It’s rare to feel that taken care of while traveling, but she managed it effortlessly. The inn itself is just as memorable. The rooms are exceptionally decorated, with every detail feeling intentional and high-end. The communal spaces downstairs are absolutely enchanting with glowing fireplaces, cozy nooks, charming Christmas decorations, adding life and warmth to every corner. But the real showstopper is the Solarium. It’s stunning and bright, peaceful, filled with natural light and lush greenery that makes the whole space feel like a living garden. We found ourselves lingering there day and night; it is the kind of room you don’t want to leave especially as the snow is falling and you feel as though you are within a gigantic snow globe. Blind Tiger is elegant, warm, and thoughtfully run. We can’t imagine a lovelier place to celebrate a milestone, and we can’t thank Katrina enough for making our stay unforgettable. Burlington is a sleepy town and must be vibrant in different seasons. But everywhere we went we met the nicest people and all willing to tell us about the best restaurants, deli’s, diners, eclectic bars and brewery’s. We had the best time and already telling all of our friends to come to Blind Tiger to stay.

Loved our stay here over the holiday break, it felt like we were in a Hallmark Christmas movie! The inn itself is gorgeous, great style and cozy common areas. The staff are super welcoming and knowledgable about the area. Our room had a tub, and an extra comfy bed. Perfect for a winer getaway! Would highly recommend.
