Comfort Inn and Suites in Burlington, Vermont offers affordable accommodations and is centrally located near restaurants and shops. While many guests praise the friendly staff, breakfast, and spacious rooms, recurring concerns include cleanliness issues, inconsistent service, and operational problems with amenities like the HVAC system. Overall, it appears to be a decent option for budget-conscious travelers but with some notable drawbacks.

Nice place with rooms that have plenty of space in the room. We had 2 beds and jacuzzi tub...which was very loud so we didn't run it long. Stayed here multiple times and price does vary based on what is going on in Burlington, so check prices ahead of time. Breakfast is very good with lots of variations and well maintained. Ill stay here again

I stay at this Comfort Inn twice a month on business. Its location is central to everything in the greater Burlington area. There are many restaurants, shops, and amenities within walking distance. The staff is outstanding. And the reception crew is more like what you would find in a hotel three or four times the price. Clean, handy, welcoming, and quiet, this Comfort Inn hits all the high spots. For those, like me, who are price conscious, I cannot recommend it more highly.

Apparently if you are here on business, you can’t stay here 6 consecutive nights or more, or you are considered a resident, however it doesn’t say that anywhere or the staff doesn’t let you know upon checking in. I knew it was a bullshit lie, however I’ve stayed at another comfort inn for months In a different city in Vermont for my work assignment and it was never mentioned. I was charged $40 for an Ink stained pillow case, in which all the pillows had stains on them. I’ve asked to speak to general manager, in which I never was allowed too. In the room it says, if you take an item from the room, you will be charged, $25 for a pillow, so where did the $40 charge come from??” I would recommend video recording your entrance in the room, and on your checkout day. Seems as if that’s a scheme set up to charge customers. For 150 a night, I’ll drive in the snow to not deal with their bullshit. The hotel is very noisy throughout the day and night, guests are loud as hell. Hard to get any true rest.

One of the least pleasent hotel experiences I have ever had. Breakfast -such as it was- was being removed at 9:15am when it was advertised as being open until 9:30am this morning. Needless to say, we will be breakfasting elsewhere tomorrow. The tile on the bathroom floors is chipped, there is mold on the bathroom wall where the wallpaper is pealing away. We have had to ask to the front deask for simple thing like aDo Not Disturb sign and towels, which the room was missing. We have just this evening returned to 2 unmade beds and a room that was not serviced today. IF we were supposed to request housekeeping, we should have been informed of this when we checked in yesterday. It is a good thing that we are tiddy hotel guests. It would have been nice if someone would have at least emptied the trash cans. I will ending my relationship with Choice Hotels if Comfort Inn and Suites South Burlington is what they have to offer which is too bad as we had hoped to make this our "spot" when we come here in the future to vist family.

Great Stay at Comfort Inn – Burlington, Vermont We had a really great time staying at the Comfort Inn in Burlington, Vermont. The service was excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast menu was quite large, with fresh and tasty options every morning, which made a great start to our day. Everything felt well-organized and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with good heating and plenty of space inside the room. The bathrooms were very nice and clean, which we really appreciated. Overall, the room setup made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. We traveled all the way from Virginia to Burlington, and this hotel made our trip even better. It was a truly pleasant experience, and we felt well taken care of during our stay. Highly recommend Comfort Inn in Burlington, Vermont for a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable stay! ?

Stayed here with my friends for a couple nights. The room was nice. The free breakfast was amazing. The hotel had easy access to a mall the highway along with many restaurants plan in the comeback during the summer to see how the outdoor pool is.

This place has seen better days. Furniture in the rooms was run down: a handle was missing from a dresser and the finish on the coffee table was severely worn. Many here have remarked on the HVAC issues. I had them in my room too. It was unnecessarily difficult to set the temperature. Also, for those like me who need noise to sleep at night, the switch to have the fan run continuously didn't work. Maintenance was friendly about it and replaced the thermostat panel, but it still didn't work properly. It was explained to me that it was a very old HVAC system, so apparently the panels are not properly communicating with the central unit. Bathtub was not clean on check-in and finish was significantly degraded - really should be reglazed or outright replaced. My room was equipped with 2 bottles of conditioner but no shampoo. Housekeeper seemed confused when I tried to explain that to her. Housekeeping is done only by request if your stay is less than 3 days, per Choice Hotels policy. On the other hand, breakfast was a great experience with different items each day: Canadian bacon and omelets one day, bacon and scrambled eggs the next, and sausage the following day. And of course, the waffles that Keegan-Michael Key loves so much in the commercials. Front desk was very professional. Entrance for this hotel is very easy to miss since it's RIGHT on the corner of Dorset St. and there's a CVS right next door that has a sign more prominent than the hotel's. But you can walk next door to University Mall (which, by the way, closes at 7 even during the holiday season), and the mall has an Applebee's and a Hannaford, so you're covered for food whether you want to make it or have it made for you. Also, the parking lot is on a one-lane, one-way street that goes around the back of the hotel, and it's tight to get into, although parking is ample. Overall, the experience was good but could have been better with some attention to overall maintenance.

Im a fairly easy to please person when it comes to hotels I dont complain unless its something like the tv wont turn on or there is no door to the room or something like that lol. With that being said.... the air conditioner doesn't seem to work. Had it set on 67 felt like 80, set it to 45 and it feels like 70. Internet is a joke, my phone wouldn't even go to the website to connect because of security issues. Got accused at breakfast of being homeless by the breakfast attendant because me and my mom walked into breakfast from outside instead of from the hotel rooms, and stared at until I asked if there was a problem and had to show my room key just to make those at the desk who were just staring get back to work. Breakfast tables were dirty and orange juice machine said it needed refilling even though the breakfast attendant was standing at the desk talking and not doing their job. The lady at the desk though was nice enough to apologize for the situation.

About the dirtiest room I’ve stayed in. Receptionist was very friendly but doesn’t make up for the conditions of the room. The bathroom was the worst part. You’d think for 100$ per night the place would be kept a little better. While not under their control, but because of the state the hotel is in, you could hear every single step your upstairs neighbor takes. Same for the next door one. Floors squeak way too much. Overall you kind of get what you pay for, but for an extra 28$ per night you’d find better options.

I cannot recommend Comfort Inn enough. First, they were one of the most affordable options we came across. Room was incredibly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. This is my new go to.
